SATURDAY – COACH FOCUS
TEAMWORK & PACING
Communicate before starting each movement.
Decide how to split the reps before the workout begins.
Both athletes run together and use the run to control the overall pace.
Avoid taking movements to failure early.
Use short, planned sets on HSPU and Toes-to-Bar.
The Deadlift should feel heavy but controlled — no unnecessary breaks between reps.
Make Box Jumps efficient and consistent.
Keep transitions fast without rushing the movement itself.
The goal is to maintain a repeatable pace across all 3 rounds.
SCALING FOCUS
Always choose the option that maintains the intended stimulus.
For HSPU, prioritize working toward a handstand position.
For Toes-to-Bar, choose the closest movement that maintains the intended stimulus.
A scale should never be an advantage.
KEY CUE
“Share the work. Control the pace. Stay together. Finish strong.”
COACH'S GOAL
Teamwork → Pacing → Quality Movement → Efficient Transitions
